His Majesty King Gyanendra returned to the capital after a weeklong unofficial tour of the mid and far-western regions on Sunday.
During his visit to mid-western and far-western districts, the King acquired information about the security situation and development activities there. He also instructed the administrative and security officials and the representatives of District Development Committees to work actively for peace and development.
