ANFA U-17 clinches U-19 title in India

On the same day when the senior booters shattered hopes of the Nepalese team, the U-17 team clinched the title of Mini SAARC Promotional U-19 Football Championship held at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok on Wednesday.

The Under-17 ANFA Academy defeated State Sports Academy of Sikkim 5-4 in a tie-breaker. Skipper Ranjit Shrestha, Anil Ojha, Roshan Karki, Bikash Chhetry and Bharat Khawas convered the spot kicks.
