Nepali documentary Sa… Karnali… to be released tomorrow
The Nepali Documentary film 'Sa Karnali through Dolpa' is being released tomorrow at Kumari Cinema hall in Kathmandu.
Made by the makers of Bhedako Oon Jasto – Kiran Krishna Shrestha, the film will take the viewers for a trip to Dolpa a remote district of Nepal situated in the Karnali.
"It is simple – the film starts at Nepalgunj airport and travels via Juphal, Dunai, Suligad before reaching the pristine Se Phoksundo Lake. I was traveling as part of the production team and also had my camera on while all took place. Thus this documentary was made," says Kiran giving a simple storyline of the film.
"The film may simply sound like a film based on the making of the music video – but there is a parallel story of Dolpa. Some part of Dolpa culture, lifestyle, the mind blowing landscape and the art of music video making… all incorporate the content of this 52 minute documentary" adds Kiran, "As Bhedako Oon, this too is made in a fun style and the audience will enjoy every bit of it. Thinle will also be enjoyed."
This time too Kiran's documentary has a row of start cast. Among the main protagonists are – music video maker - Bhusan Dahal, Nepathya singer - Amrit Gurung and Thinle - of Caravan fame. nepalnews.com dr Oct 05 06
