UNHCR to hold refugee census of out-camp refugees on April 20

UNHCR has said the census of out-camp Bhutanese refugees would be held in Khudunabari camp in Jhapa district on April 20.

In addition, two extra days of grace period have been scheduled for each camp for refugees who due to some reasons could not appear for re-registration during the period Census was held in their camp, a statement by the UN refugee agency said.

Accordingly, registration of refugees from Goldhap camp would be held on April 23 and 24 at Khudunabari camp, Timai camp refugees on April 25 and 26 at Khudunabari camp, Khudunabari camp refugees on April 27 and 30 at the same camp, while Beldangi I camp refugees can register on May 2 and 3 at Beldangi II camp, Beldangi II camp refugees on May 4 and 7 at the same camp, Beldangi II Ext regfugees on May 8 and 9 at Beldangi II camp and Sanischare camp refugees on May 10 and 11 at Beldangi II camp.
