UML, YCL clash; two injured

Two persons have been injured in a clash between cadres of the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) and Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) in Bhojpur district on Saturday.

In a northern region of the district, Dingla, cadres of the two organisations broke into clashes and scuffle over minor dispute.

According to police, UML cadres Dinesh Bhatta and Jitkumar Rai were seriously injured in the incident.

The local YCL in charge conceded mistake on YCL's part for using excessive force during the clash and agreed to help in the treatment of the injured. nepalnews.com sd Dec 09 07
