Mahato’s party holds protest rally in Nepalgunj

The Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP) faction led by former minister Rajendra Mahato held a protest rally in mid western town of Nepalgunj on Sunday demanding immediate fulfillment of demands raised by Madhesi people.

The demonstrators burnt effigy of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at Tribhuwan Chowk area.

They urged all the ministers and MPs from Madhes region to resign and join the Madhes agitation.

They demanded quick fulfillment of Madhesi demands including autonomy and recognition followed by the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
