Parliament session meets and ends in moments
The scheduled session of the interim parliament was conducted for a very brief period on Wednesday.
The next session will now be held on Friday, December 21.
As soon as the session began on Wednesday, Minister for Education and Sports Pradeep Nepal presented the 17th annual report of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
The much expected summit meeting of the top leaders of the seven parties is yet to take place on Wednesday. They are expected to seal the 20-point compromise pact drafted by the joint taskforce.
Once the pact is adopted by seven parties that will need to be incorporated in the third amendment of the constitution, which the parliament will need to approve. nepalnews.com sd Dec 19 07
