Curfew clamped in Janakpur
The local administration has clamped overnight curfew in Janakpur city following worsening law and order situation.
The administration has clamped curfew between 7 pm in the evening till 4 am on Thursday morning after there were sporadic clashes among demonstrators.
Following the violent incident in Lahan, Janakpur, too, has been witnessing demonstrations.
Meanwhile, Biratnagar remained paralysed on Wednesday after the Madhesi People's Rights Forum (MPRF) imposed indefinite strike there demanding changes in the interim constitution.
