China willing to support Nepal for infrastructure development: Chao 
The Chinese government has expressed its willingness to provide financial assistance to Nepal for the peace process and infrastructure development ruined by the decade long insurgency.
During his meeting with Prime Min ister Girija Prasad Koirala at Baluwatar Wednesday, the visiting Chinese assistance minister for commerce Wang Chao said his government was ready to provide logistic support for the upcoming constituent assembly polls.
According to Dr Suresh Chalise, the PM's foreign affairs advisor, Koirala sought Chinese support for construction of the outer ring road in Kathmandu. In response, the Chinese minister assured to send an expert team to study the project site by the next month.
PM Koirala and Chao also discussed the possibility of importing POL products from China as supply from India has not been regular.
On Tuesday, government had asked the Chinese minister to increase the financial assistance to which Chao responded positively. nepalnews.com ia July 25 07
