NHRC chief meets PM

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) chairman Kedar Nath Upadhyaya met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar Sunday morning to brief him about the country’s latest human rights situation.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister there was also discussion the budget constraints and problems facing the rights body, said NHRC chairman Upadhyaya after the meeting.

NHRC members had also accompanied Upadhyaya in the meeting.
