Indian aid for clean drinking water management
India has announced that it will extend a grant assistance of Rs 1, 45,74,000 to Nepal for clean drinking water management project at Maoist cantonments.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Department of Water Supply and Sewerage System and the Indian Embassy in Nepal on Monday.
The Indian embassy said the assistance would be spent on clean drinking water management projects in the five main Maoist cantonments in Ilam, Sindhuli, Chitwan, Nawalparasi and Kailali. nepalnews.com ag Nov 06 07
