New envoys receive instruction from PM
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala instructed the newly appointed Nepali envoys to work with high morality during their tenure to promote the prestige of the country.
During this meeting with envoys of 11 countries whose approved agreemos have been received, Koirala said it is the high time that Nepali ambassadors abroad work at their best to boost the nation's morale.
Meanwhile, the government is yet to receive agreemo of remaining 10 proposed envoys.
He said the envoys should act according to the changed political context of Nepal and strengthen diplomatic ties with the countries they work in that will help build a new Nepal.
Later today, Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan is also scheduled to meet the ambassadors and give instructions while the Ministry of Labour will organised a programme on foreign employment and role of the envoys.
The Nepal Tourism Board on Monday had held discussion with the new envoys on how tourism could be promoted. nepalnews.com ia Nov 06 07
