Hailstorm destroys crops in Dolakha
Unexpected hailstorm that fell in Dolakha district yesterday destroyed crops worth millions of rupees, causing much distress for the local farmers.
The hailstorm that preceded an incessant rainfall completely destroyed paddy harvest, cash crops and vegetable farms in most of the VDC’s of the district.
Temperature also dipped to a record low due to the rainfall at the district headquarter Charikot yesterday night, badly affecting the normal life.
