Maoist dissidents reorganised

A group of Maoist dissidents have announced the formation of a new party, CPN-Maoist (United Rebel Front) on Sunday.

The dissidents have blamed the mother party leaders of ignoring the people's mandate and interests and deviating from party policy for positions in the government.

In a press conference on Sunday, the party's valley coordinator said, "We will stage the second people's war and Jana Andolan III to secure people's rights and to overthrow the old regime."
