Talking to a team of Press Chautari at the party parliamentary office, Mahara said he received information of Maoist cadres being involved in the abduction and assured action against them for working against the party policy. He further said the truth behind the incident will be published soon.

The journalist-team has sought attention of the Maoist leadership for immediate release of journalist Shah.

Shah, the correspondent of Nepal FM, Dristi Weekly and Avenues TV, was abducted from Pipara Bazaar of Bara on Friday afternoon. nepalnews.com ia Oct 10 07
