Diarrhea claims 6 lives in Kalikot

A serious diarrhea outbreak has claimed the lives of six persons in Foimahadev VDC of remote Kalikot district in the past one-week.

According to former VDC chairman Ain Bahadur Shahi, Dugi Damai, 60 and Mathu Damai, 30 of ward no 1; Bishnu Pandey, 28 and Jamakal Hamal, 35 of ward no 2; Kabilal Mahatara, 60 of ward no 3 and Jaikali Pandey, 60 of ward no 8 of the VDC died after falling victim to a serious bout of diarrhea.
