YCL abducts NC leader in Rukum

The Maoist affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) has abducted a local leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) in mid-western Rukum district.

A statement issued by the NC said Hari Prasad Sharma, an active party worker, was abducted from his house in Bijeshwori VDC-3, Rukum, Tuesday morning.

According to the statement, YCL men also looted Rs 40 thousand cash from two NC cadres, Jhup Bahadur G.C and Kali Bahadur Budhathoki, in the same district.
