The Village Development Committee (VDC) secretaries are preparing to re-launch their agitation after Dashain demanding political mechanism be set up to operate the local bodies.
The VDC secretaries had suspended their agitation in August after the government expressed its inability to fulfill their demands before the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
However, since the CA election has now become uncertain, the VDC secretaries have said that they are preparing to resume their agitation.
