NRN Germany for 'beneficial' new NRNA committee
Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Germany has proposed a more beneficial working committee of the NRNA from the third conference to be held in Kathmandu next month.
In a statement, NRN Germany president Dil Bahadur Gurung, said he is completely aware of the developments going on for the upcoming ICC elections. "All candidacies received are completely competitive and has done enough to run for the post. But, taking consideration of certain facts that Nepal is facing in it's political development, which can be referred as a political turmoil, we cannot afford to run dozen's of candidacies for the ICC presidency, in which only one can be a winner and the rest will have to satisfy themselves and sole mission of NRNA put aside," he said.
He urged for a unanimous candidate for the elections.
Gurung also proposed for two global vice presidents and one global coordinator, one deputy coordinator and one women representative and its deputy along with six regional vice presidents. nepalnews.com ia Sep 24 07
