NC-D to hold inaugural session of its Mahasamiti

Even as it prepares to hold a joint Mahasamiti meeting with Nepali Congress (NC) to formally declare the unification, NC-Democratic will go ahead with the inaugural session of its own Mahasamiti meeting on Tuesday morning.

NC-D president Sher Bahadur Deuba will inaugurate the Mahasamiti at around 9 am in the capital.

"After the inaugural session, all of us will then go to the venue of NC's Mahasamiti to have a joint meeting. There the party will be formally unified," said Prakash Man Singh, vice president of NC-D.

Singh said all tasks have been completed for the unification. "Taskforces have given the report to the presidents of NC and NC-D and they may make any necessary change," he said.
