UML cadres injured in YCL attack

Over two dozen workers of Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) have been injured after they were attacked by the Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) cadres in Beda VDC in Dhading district.

The UML cadres were attacked at around 5 pm in the evening.

The attack occurred in the backdrop of dispute regarding management of a school in Kiranchowk VDC of the district.

Nine of the injured persons have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment while the rest are receiving treatment at Community Highway Hospital in Malekhu. nepalnews.com sd Sep 26 07
