MJF chief ousts PM's daughter from Sunsari-5; takes Morang-5 also
Chief of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav has won the Sunsari
constituency-5 and Morang constituency-5.
He has defeated Sujata Koirala, daughter of Prime Minister Girija Prasad
Koirala. Yadav got 23,939 votes while Sujata finished third with 8,885
votes.
She is the latest among the Congress giants who have fallen in this election With her loss, Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has witnessed the fall
of two of his close confidantes - acting president Sushil Koirala and
daughter Sujata Koirala.
MJF chairman Yadavl also won the election from Morang-5, bagging 27,805
votes while his nearest rival Amrit Aryal of Nepali Congress got 10,324
votes.
Likewise, Nepali Congress leader-turned-MJF candidate Bijaya Gachhadar has
