EC to conduct repolling in 23 more centres

The Election Commission has suspended the election in 23 stations where re-polling will be conducted.

With these 23 stations the number stations needing repolling has reached 98, EC officials said.

Disputes during vote counting and other technical lapses have lead to cancellation of polling in a number of stations while the EC had cancelled the polling in 33 stations in 10 districts on the election day itself.

21 constituencies in 12 districts where repolling will be conducted include Baglung constituency 1, 2 and 3, Chitwan-5, Dhading-1, Rautahat-4, Saptari-2, Mahottari-4 and Siraha-3. nepalnews.com mk Apr 14 08
