Mahara for cooperation among parties after polls

Information and Communication Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that unless all he parties winning seats in the constituent assembly work hand in hand, socio-economic transformation of Nepal is impossible.

Speaking at a function organised by the Federation of Nepali Journalist (FNJ) in Dang Monday morning, Mahara said that collaboration among the parties must continue for years for Nepal's good.

He said the new government would be run with consultation among the parties representing in the constituent assembly.

Mahara, who won the election from Dang constituency-3, also said that new government led by Maoist would work towards effective implementation of the Right to Information Act and Working Journalists Act. nepalnews.com ia Apr 14 08
