Shree Air helicopter force-landed at Makalu base camp

A MI-17 helicopter of Shree Air has 'crash-landed' at Makalu base camp on Saturday morning.

The helicopter, with eight people on board, including the crew, had flown from Lukla Airport met the accident at 8:37, civil aviation office said.

All the people on board are reported to be safe. The helicopter was lightly damaged at its front side.
