Defeated candidates move SC calling for re-polling in Mahottari-6
Some 15 election candidates from various parties and a few independents,
who lost election in Mahottari constituency-6, have on Monday moved the
Supreme Court, alleging the Election Officer of involving in
irregularities in vote counting and illegally declaring the results.

results of the election were "fraudulent and biased".
They also demanded that the vote counting was done in an illegal manner
and reelection should be conducted in the constituency by making the
results null and void re-election.
