Indian foreign minister to visit Nepal
India's External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee
could visit Nepal immediately after the formation of
new government in Kathmandu, according to Indian media
reports.
The reports also say that India is taking diplomatic
initiatives to invite Maoist chairman Prachanda for
India visit following his party's win in the recent
Constituent Assembly (CA) election.
Meanwhile, Indian ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shanker
Mukherjee is returning to New Delhi on April 23 after
wrapping up his four-year-tenure in Kathmandu.
He will be replaced by ambassador-designate Rakesh
