Three die in road accident

At least three persons were killed and 11 others injured when a bus met with an accident in Chidipani-2 of Palpa district late Sunday night.

The bus (Lu 1 Kha 3525) carrying marriage procession met with an accident while on its way to Syangja district from Butwal. Reporters who arrived at the scene found the bus to have rammed into a roadside house, killing its owner and her daughter. However, the main cause behind the accident was not immediately known.

The deceased have been identified as Tupisara Gharti, 57, the owner of the house, her 11-year old daughter Puspa and a passenger of the bus Khum Raj Dumre of Syanja district.

Tupisara died on the spot and her daughter died while undergoing treatment. Dumre died while being rushed to the hospital. The injured are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Medical College and Tansen Mission hospital. nepalnews.com ag Apr 28 08
