Nine killed in landslide in Bajura
At least nine persons have been killed in a landslide in remote
village in Bajura district of mid western Nepal, according to a report
in Nepal FM.
"Three houses have been completely destroyed. Everyone inside are
feared to have been killed. Till now nine dead bodies have been
recovered," Karna Bahadur Thapa, secretary of UML district committee
and chief of Bajura Sarokar Manch told the FM.
According to him, the landslide occurred in Brahmkot village on
Wednesday night triggered by incessant rainfall.
