MJF leader vows to continue agitation in Madhes
In response to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala’s remarks that he would not fulfill demands for single Madhes province and right to self determination, chief of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav has vowed to continue agitation in the region.
“Till the fulfillment of demand for right to self determination and single autonomous province in Madhes, we will continue our movement,” Yadav said in Janakpur, Sunday.
He accused that the Prime Minister does not want to resolve Madhes problem.
Meanwhile, in Kathmandu, a leader of Terai Madhes Loktantrik Morcha (TMLP) has said that they will stick with their six-point demands despite the remarks by the Prime Minister.
“Since his remarks have come in media, we are trying to find it out from him directly regarding his positions. As far as we are concerned, there is no question of holding talks if our demands are not going to be met,” said Sarbendra Nath Shukla. nepalnews.com sd Feb 18 08
