One dozen NC MPs protest 'repression' in Terai
One dozen lawmakers of ruling Nepali Congress (NC) party have
expressed their protest at what they have called as repression in
Terai.
Issuing a statement, Friday, they protested the style of functioning
of the government and urged it to fulfill Madhes demands through
dialogue.
The statement was issued after a meeting held at the residence of
Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar.
They have pointed that the government 'must not move ahead by
trampling Terai demands.'
The lawmakers issuing the statement include Gachhadar, Govinda Raj
Joshi, deputy speaker Chitralekha Yadav, Birendra Kumar Kanaudiya,
Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya, Mangal Prasad Tharu, Sharat Singh Bhandari,
Ram Janam Chaudhary, Gyanu KC, Laxman Prasad Mehta, Hari Narayan
