The RJP had earlier announced that it would boycott the election unless the Madhes issues were addressed first.
"The news of agreement between the government and the UDMF has pleased the RJP and it wishes to express commitment to participate in election processes," says a statement issued by RJP president Surya Bahadur Thapa.
