Media mission to press for tracing Thakuri’s whereabouts

An international media mission has said it will press with the government and concerned actors to trace the whereabouts of journalist Prakash Singh Thakuri, who has been missing since past six months.

The mission members traveled to far west town of Mahendranagar, on Tuesday, to meet with wife and kids of Thakuri.

The mission also sought information from local journalists, administrators and Maoist leaders.

The mission members have said that they will raise the issue with the government, security and Maoist leadership once they return to the capital.
