JTMM-Jwala kills govt employee in Banke

Cadres of Jwala Singh-led Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) have murdered a government employee following abduction in Banke district.

Purna Prasad Dhakal, a clerk at the Land Reforms Office, Banke, who was kidnapped by JTMM-Jwala cadres Saturday night from Raniyapur village, was found dead at near Sidhiniya Ghat today.

Police found his bullet-ridden body during a search this afternoon.

Reports quoting family sources said the captors had allowed him to make phone calls to the family members last night. Dhakal had gone to Raniyapur in course of a mapping project.

JTMM-Jwala in a statement this afternoon claimed responsibility for the murder.
