In what reminded of the controversial actions of the Maoist-aligned Young Communist League (YCL), the CPN-UML's newly established 'Youth Force' today 'nabbed' a junior civil servant at his office while taking 'bribe'.

The Youth Force members claimed that Bhuwan Kumar Regmi, a clerk at the Department of Labour and Employment Promotion, Kathmandu, was caught red-handed while taking Rs 15,000, as bribe, from a manpower agent.
They also took under control an alleged middle man, Daman Chand, during the 'raid'. The Youth Force members apparently dragged the two men out of the office premises in full media glare and handed them over to the police.
Following the incident, the employees at the Department halted their work protesting the action carried out by the Youth Force. They insisted that their collegue was innocent and that they would continue protest against such an 'arbitrary action'.
The Youth Force, an arm of the UML youth wing, Democratic National Youth Federation (DNYF), was established a few weeks earlier. nepalnews.com mk July 01 08
