Federal structure should not affect national integrity: RPP Chairman Rana
Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Pashupati Shumser Rana has said that the federal structure should not affect the national integrity. Talking to Nepalnews Thursday, chairman Rana said the problems the country is facing should be resolved through the federal and alternative systems by keeping national integrity alive.

When questioned about the one Madhes province demands of the Terai based parties, Rana said the demand must be resolved through the talks with all concerned parties and groups of the Terai region.
He said fulfilling the demands of the Terai parties should look be based on the previous agreement between the government and the United Democratic Madhesi Front, a political alliance of the three Madhesi parties.
He further said the federal structure should be implemented on the recommendation of the high level expert commission which has a provision in the interim constitution.
Stating that people have been facing injustice and inequality for a long period, he said the new constitution must address these problems. Blaming the major three parties of creating a 'directionless situation' in the country, Rana suggested that they must consult and take help of all 25 parties in the Constitution Assembly to lead the country towards a positive political direction. nepalnews.com ks July 03 08
