Court directs govt to free detained Tibetan protesters
The Supreme Court (SC), on Monday, directed the government to free three detained Tibetan protesters.
The apex court has asked the government to release Tasi Dolma, Nawang Sangmo and Kalsan Chung.
The government had said that the three had been arrested for leading anti-China protests in Nepal.
The SC bench comprising judges Min Bahadur Rayamajhi and Tapa Bahadur Magar gave the verdict to release them stating there was no ground for keeping them in detention. nepalnews.com sd Jul 08 08
