Federal system will harm national integrity: NPF Chief KC

Chairman of National People's Front (NPF) Chitra Bahadur KC has said that federal system will move the country towards separation.

Talking to Nepalnews Wednesday, KC suggested to follow a 'decentralize system' in the current Nepalese context.

Stating federal system is not the viable option, he opined to hand over the rights to the people in the local level through a decentralized system, except rights of national importance.

He further said that creating the states on the basis of ethnic communities will give rise to regional as well as communal conflicts and put a serious dent on national unity.
