Thapa to knock the doors of court

Kamal Thapa, president of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP-Nepal), has said he will knock the doors of apex court against the decision of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

The CIAA had, on Tuesday, decided that during his tenure as Home Minister in the King-led cabinet, Thapa had abused his authority and spent Rs 9.718 million. The CIAA had asked the government to recover the money from him.

Thapa, on the other hand, issued a statement, Wednesday, rejecting all the charges leveled against him.
