A trader attacked in Janakpur, FNCCI asks govt to ensure security
The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) – the umbrella organisation of business community – has asked the government to ensure security to businessmen.
Following the attack against a trader in Janakpur, Sunday, the FNCCI has issued a statement demanding security.
After the alleged workers of Terai Rastriya Mukti Morcha (TRMM) shot and injured Gaurishankar Mahato, owner of Gaurishankar Iron Stores in Janakpur, Sunday morning, the FNCCI has issued a strong statement asking authorities to immediately arrest the culprits.
The FNCCI has accused the government of failing to demonstrate responsibility by allowing such attacks against businessmen to continue despite several requests to ensure security.
It has regretted that such attacks have continued even after the election of Constituent Assembly. nepalnews.com sd Jul 20 08
