ICRC rebuilds infrastructure of Kapilvastu jail
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has said it has been busy bringing basic infrastructure up to international standards at the Kapilvastu District Jail.
In a statement, ICRC mentioned that many of Nepal's jails are in need of repair.
The ICRC's work has improved the water supply, facilitated food preparation and created a dining space in keeping with proper hygiene conditions.
The two-year project to rebuild the infrastructure cost over Rs 1 million.
