President to be sworn in today

The newly elected president Dr. Ram Baran Yadav is all set to be sworn in as the first president of republic Nepal on Wednesday.

The swearing in ceremony is scheduled to take place at 3 pm at Shital Niwas – the Office of the President.

Authorities have decorated Shital Niwas and made preparations to carry out the ceremony with pomp.

The president will be sworn in by Chief Justice Kedar Prasad Giri in presence of prime minister, ministers, officials and dignitaries.
