NRN Canada convention in August
The first convention of Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordinating Committee (NCC) Canada has been scheduled for August 23 and 24 in Toronto.
According to a statement issued by the organisation, a newly elected executive committee of the NRN-Canada will be announced during the convention.
The first day of the convention will be composed of formal programmes, including thematic workshops on various issues surrounding the Nepali Diaspora in Canada, globally, and their connection to Nepal. A task group is working to choose the theme and design corresponding programme.
On the second day, a gala event 'Himalayan Festival’ will be organised jointly by the Nepali Canadian Community Services and NRN-Canada.
