NEPSE posts growth
The stock market continued to perform well for the 5th straight week as
the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index registered a growth of 52.02 points
to reach 885.20 points from last week's closing of 833.18 points.
Altogether 80 companies saw their shares being traded at the sole
secondary market of the country this week.
According to the data provided by NEPSE, commercial banks group registered
63.29 points growth to close at 897.96 points. Development banks, hydro
and insurance groups were also among the gainers this week closing at
1139.99 points, 1225.33 points and 830.90 points respectively.
Groups in negative territory were the hotel group which lost 4.51 points
to close at 397.42 points while the finance company group plunged by 67.98
