Nepal promotion functions held in Denmark, Germany
With the aim of promoting Nepalese tourism in Denmark, the Embassy of Nepal in Denmark recently organised a promotion programme entitled 'Nepal as a top tourist destination' where 90 participants including tour operators, travel agents, and journalists were invited.
Speaking on the occasion, Vijaykant Lal Karna, Nepali envoy to Denmark said tourism is a major source of employment generation and earning of foreign currency in Nepal, and highlighted the success of peace process and tourism prospects of Nepal.
He requested the travel operators to grab the benefit of the situation.
The ambassador said the Nepali New Year had heralded an optimistic tourism growth and informed that the Embassy had decided to provide visa within few minutes to those willing to travel to Nepal.
Lars Gundrsen, Manager of Kipling Travel and Honorary Public Relations Representative of Nepal Tourism Board made a presentation on why and how to promote tourism in Nepal.
During the programme, a documentary film Adventure Attractions of Nepal was also screened.
Similarly, a function was organised in Muenster with the aim of renewing relations between Nepalis and Germans.
