NSU to 'mobilise' students during election
Nepal Students' Union (NSU) is all set to 'mobilise' students during the Constituent Assembly election to ensure victory to its parent party - Nepali Congress.
A meeting of the NSU held on Saturday constituted a 5001-member committee under the convenorship of the union's central president Pradip Poudel to effectively mobilise the students during the election.
NSU has also come up with a slogan to be used for publicity purpose during the election, which goes - "Lets go to villages, lets go to towns and help Nepali Congress win (the election)".
There would be a 1001-member election publicity committee under the convenorship of NSU's central vice-president in each development region. Similarly, there would be 501-member committee in each district and 101-member committee in each constituency. A separate 'election mobilisation committee' has been formed for all 15-election constituencies in the valley. nepalnews.com ag Mar 02 08
