Three killed in jeep mishap

Three persons died and four more were injured in a jeep accident in Palpa district Sunday night.

The jeep, heading towards Chahara from Dagil VDC, fell 200 meters from the country road killing three passengers instantly and injuring the rest.

According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Dan Bahadur Rayamajhi of Chahara-1, Tulsi Ram Poudel and Surya Khadgi of Chahara-7. The driver Dinesh Kunwar and passengers Govinda Poudel, Sita Khanal and her infant daughter have been injured.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Palpa Mission Hospital. Doctors said the condition of Poudel is very serious. nepalnews.com ag Mar 10 08
