Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare Pampha Bhusal said, Friday, that Nepali women should be prepared for another movement to ensure their reasonable presence in the Constituent Assembly (CA).
In an inaugural session of National Conference of Professional Women on CA election, Bhusal warned that the political parties could deceive women after the election.
"Without continuous struggle for some years in the future, Nepali women are not going to get their rights," she said.
She said women deserved 'special rights' as a compensation for hundreds years of oppression against the womenfolk by the patriarchal society.
Urging women to make the upcoming CA election a success, she said that this was very important for women to secure their rights.
