RPP's Bhojpur candidate dies
Prashuram Rai, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) first-past-the-post
(FPTP) candidate from Bhojpur constituency-2, died Sunday.
Rai whose health condition had rapidly deteriorated from the past one
month died while undergoing treatment at Life Care Hospital in Kathmandu
yesterday night. He was 64.
Rai's death has come as a serious upset for RPP just ahead of the election.
Meanwhile, in yet another instance of poll related violence, Kaman Singh
Lama, a People's Front Nepal candidate was seriously injured when he was
attacked by CPN (United) cadres while he was sleeping in a house in Kavre
district Monday morning.
Lama, the party's candidate for Kavre constituency 1, had reached
