Senior UML leader Jhala Nath Khanal is likely to lead the party's
parliamentary group in the Constituent Assembly election.
Khanal's chances increased after party's acting general secretary Amrit
Kumar Bohora, standing committee member Sahana Pradhan including other
senior UML leaders didn't appear in the party's Proportional
Representation list.
"As the party is busy in its central committee meeting, no decision has
been taken on who would lead the party's parliamentary group," an unnamed
UML leader told Kantipur Daily, "but as Khanal is the senior-most among
the leaders who won in the direct election there are chances that he would
